Default GT3T - Finalising the Design (with Renders)

Hi All,

i could really use use some help finalising the spec of my GT3T. I decided on black exterior and have 3 designs I am considering or a hybrid combination of them.

I welcome thoughts and advice please.

Special thanks to NS2 for the renders and to Whoopsy who helped me out and whose 911R gave me inspiration.

Current Options:
- PDLS (thoughts on black PDLS vs PDLS for this build are welcome)
- Steel brakes (haven’t decided for sure but heard they squeak less and they match the stitching)
- sport Chrono (good idea for a Touring?)
- Red Stitching
- All Leather Interior
- Vents in leather with slats painted black
- Carbon Trim
- Carbon triangles
- Carbon Mirrors
- Fronts Lift
- Smoking Package
- Illuminated door sills
- carbon shifter (if possible)
- Bose
- Red Belts
- LWB
- Dundon or IPE headers and exhaust

Please let me know your thoughts on the options and any suggested tweaks of the designs.

Thanks!!! The tweaking of the build is a huge part of the fun and welcome everyone to chime in. Will have some professional pics taken when it arrives.

Default Option 1

- I don’t like not separating the wheel from the tire so what finish on the lip?
- Black PDLS?
- Chrome trim or black trim?
- Any tweaks?

Yes, All have a black exterior but with different wheel colours, stripe/decal designs and the trims might change (headlights and windows).

Very nice. Option 2 Retro has my vote (by far). I would avoid the light aluminum trim with black wheels.

Also, I like matching the wheels with the LEDs. So black wheels, black LEDs. Silver wheels, clear LEDs.

Above, not sure if you're asking about base Xenons... But if you are, and want to go all blacked out, the black LEDs are really your only options. If you're going light wheels, then either the base Xenons or the PDLS Xenons can work. I like the PDLS Xenons because they add a little depth to the look and offer both black and aluminum elements.

Thank you for your comments.

i thought it might look nice of the wheel lip was polished to match the window trim. That might be too risky and better to go black window trim.

One thing I can’t do is all black wheels. Lots of people love it, but I have to separate the wheel from the tire or it’s all lost in a sea of black.

I just about missed that polished lip. I think it definitely works better than all black wheels with the aluminum trim. That's a tough one. I don't know if I'd take the risk, but you never can be sure until you live with it for a while. Option 2 is solid though.

Option 2, love. Option 1 great for a track focused and winged GT3. Option 3 trying to fit in.

By trim, do you mean changing the window trim from chrome to black? If so, that would change the look by quite a bit.

I like black trim better as it’s more fitting of a modern Porsche IMO but would need pics to choose between option 2 and 3 with black trim. I get the whole retro/singer thing but those cars had/have a whole lot more chrome then just the window trim, exhaust tip and porsche emblem, as well as less black accents.
