Just checked with my SA, and he has not seen a stop sale order, FWIW.

Probably trying to make as many cars as possible by the end of the year (i.e. end of 991.2 GT3 production), and PTS/CXX is slowing them down too much. Not worth the extra money when you can't keep on schedule.

Seems logical. PTS seems off the hook right now. Opening the floodgates has been very popular even with the increased $$$. They should have PTS available anytime and make $$. I'm sure they are having growing pains with fulfilling PTS and CXX seeing both are VERY popular.

Buyers want custom spec cars period. Not dealer spec whale ones.

In other news, 991.1 GT3 market has been pretty strong. # of cars 4 sale has fallen off highs. The extended warranty is most likely a big plus too in addition to hard to get .2 and ADM.

^^^^Can't see parting with a .1 PDK for a .2 PDK. Improvements are just not worth the delta in cost to most people. This is likely another factor helping to preserve values.

Previously, there was a PTS order-stop on all Zuffenhausen cars until April (or after) allocations. Now there is a PTS order-stop on all Zuffenhausen cars regardless of the allocation month.

There is, however, this one exception: GT cars are permitted to have PTS on August (or later) allocations. Only GT cars. Normal 911/718's are under PTS order-stop.

If you have a PTS allocation in V215 or V250 status, you have nothing to be concerned with.

Makes sense, as the PTS premiums on GT3s are much higher than the normal 911/718s. Now if Porsche could coordinate things to paint the wart on PTS cars destined for North America...

It was accepted by PAG but on my build it shows as:

The price for CXX options will not show on the build sheet. However, once your CXX request has been approved by Exclusive Manufaktur, the price will be added to a back screen in PVMS by one of the Exclusive Manufaktur consultants. When the MSRP is finally printed at the port, the specific CXX option and its price will appear. PVMS is the ordering system that Porsche and your dealer uses to order cars and track the process; you do not have access to it, but your dealer does.

Your sales associate will have access to this: Enter commission number into PVMS. Click "Details." Click "Configuration." Scroll down. Viola.

If there is a specific price for your CXX request entered into this "back screen" then you know your request has been accepted.

So, are all PTS GT3 done at that factory or are some also assembled/painted at another?

They are all done at the factory. The bumpers are painted off site at the supplier.

I guess PTS GT3's won't be a dime a dozen. Any idea what % of .2GT3's will be PTS. Very thankful I'm at V215 and worth every penny of the 13K.

Congrats. I hope mine makes it still without delay.

Is that a GT3 Touring next to yours? Looks like they got aluminum trim with black wheels and bits. WHY? Poor car...
