I don't know if PCCB is worth it. It's something that has to be replaced anyways.

Same colour as mine although mine has PCCBs.I love RY on the new GT3 and prefer it to the orangey Signal yellow. However if given a choice on any yellow for my GT3 i would unhesitantly pick Speed yellow as it hits the middle ground perfectly..The icing on the cake is it matches the Speed yellow of the PCCBs..

Man, I'm glad you like RY. I just don't dig lemon yellow color of RY and dig more of orange yellow of SY but that's all personal choices. Is paying $13k for slightly different shade of yellow worth it? That's food for thought

FWIW, when I added CXX options on my build, I was advised to spec the yellow color on the vinyl to "cadmium yellow" as that is allegedly the best match to PCCB calipers. So most likely that is the paint code for the PCCB calipers and whether the car itself is RY or SY, it will likely be somewhat off relative to the calipers. But again, buy based on color you like vs trying to match the brakes themselves.

OP, did you consider Meissen Blue? Compared to Gulf, more grey, not as bright, subtle difference.

OP
Gulf blue and signal yellow are completely different colors. How serious are you about picking a color ? Your on two ends of the color spectrum. For 13K their should be ZERO doubt about color.

Pretty serious.

More serious than debating among different shades of yellow.

Another alternative to Gulf (admittedly one I considered myself), but metallic is the Light Blue Celeste (W80) color (from the Lambo, looks quite sharp IMO).

OP - when is your allocation month? With the recent freeze worth checking with your dealer especially if not a late yr allocation.

Yes, this was a confirmed as Gulf (not Meissen), delivered in Munich. Personally would get it with the black/platinum accents (wheels, headlights) but to each their own

Agreed. I would do black wheel. But regular headlight housing is dark enough. Black headlight housing looks like jack sparrow's eye like previously mentioned.
