PTS on a numbered edition. It’s a collectible.

Note that it had delivery miles, and plaque number matching the serial number of the 918 that sold immediately before it for $1.3m with premium (same buyer?). Not your average 911R.

Does the 435K include the premium?

For the same price I would take a 991.2 GT3 in manual and a 1972 pristine condition 911.

I try not to judge people. I said "enjoy" to the new owner. There are many ways to derive enjoyment. Driving is only one of many. Full disclosure, I drove over 12,000 miles this past driving season from April till October.

I agree. To each his/her own. It's their money. Whatever they buy they can do anything with it. "Enjoyment" is very subjective. I think the 911R sold well. The 918 was sold fairly low due to no Weissach Package.

Drive safe,

It was the same buyer who bought both.
However, he bought 918 first, so there was at least one other high R bidder, who definitely didn't have the matching 918!

(i do now realise when they asked me if I wanted to choose VINs, I shouldn't have said 'I don't care, it's only a number...')
