Default Fabspeed Motorsport 991.2 GT3 competition race headers>>

Happy New Year to everyone. Several weeks ago we completed design, engineering and validation of Fabspeed Motorsport race competition long tube headers for the very latest GT3 cars. We have built and shipped many sets of headers to shops & customers............. BUT finally a beautiful Miami Blue car arrived at Fabspeed Motorsport USA. What a fantastic looking car. Porsche really did a fantastic job as usual!

For all you GT3 owners Fabspeed Motorsport has competition/ race headers and side mufflers bypass pipes. Fabspeed Motorsport also has SPORT headers equipped with HJS German imported catalytic converters.

For the 2004-2005 996 GT3- we developed systems over 13 years ago that are proven and make sports car sound and power. Long tube headers with HJS high flow 200 cell genuine catalytic converters.

For 1st Generation 997 GT3- I had the 1st car in North America in 11/2006 and our team built dyno and race proven systems. Now collaboration and validation by BURNS STAINLESS and Fabspeed Motorsport allows us to have the very best race competition for the very latest 991.2 GT3 .
You are all cordially invited to cruise by our facility and take a tour of our design, engineering and manufacturing facility. Fabspeed Motorsport typically has the very latest Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren and other exotics. Have a great week.

Fabspeed Motorsport teamed up with Burns stainless of southern california. Burns stainless developed high velocity merge collectors and race proven exhaust for Formula 1, Indy car, Sprint cars, professional dragracing, AMLS corvette teams and numerous Porsche professional race teams. Burns makes all the Singer exhaust systems. Vince and Jack have an engine modeling program they used to decide optimum headers length, volume and collector sizes. Fabspeed Motorsport worked with Burns to incrementally dyno develop everything for the Ultimate race headers. WE use 321 stainless steel and CNC mandrel bend everything 100% inhouse and backpurge weld at Fabspeed. The inlet flanges are lost wax investment cast for the optimum flow from a stock oval port header to a round tube versus laser cut or waterjet cut. This despite having a Flow Mach 3 at Fabspeed.

OEM stock versus Fabspeed race competition headers with 321SS. Notice investment cast flanges

Installed with side muffler valved bypass pipes. OEM Porsche GT3 factory silica carbide valves- super high temperature rated

More undertray clearance that OEM Porsche headers. Notice anti-reversionary joints. Lastly, Bending and building another 25 sets of these 991 GT3 headers this week.

warm regards

Are there o2 bungs on the side pipes that trick the ecu so that there are no CEL’s? Can you provide more detailed pictures of the headers and valved side pipes. Thanks

Fellow member Nick Yoskin's car with Fabspeed LTH installed showing where the sensor bungs are, no CEL'S. This car ran a 10.62@132mph 1/4 mile with headers only.

What is sound like vs a center delete... able to still have a quiet cruise, or do they drone? Sport exhaust function still work?

It doesn't look like the newest design that Fabspeed posted a picture of has those O2 bongs

I don't have these headers on my car but they are there but they are tough to see in this image and the O2 sensors are not installed.

Look to the side of the valve on the left side, the bungs are there, they just didn't screw the sensors in before the picture was taken. Right side is screwed in and can be seen next to the right valve. Same headers as on the UV GT3RS in the picture.

HI Guys
I will post pictures tomorrow of the GT3 Headers and side muffler bypass pipes. When I took a picture of the new brushed stainless steel headers installed on the GT3 I jumped the gun and took a picture. Obviously everything was tightened and torqued to specifications before delivery.

These new GT3s are the bomb..........cudos to Porsche as they employee continual improvement .......... build & improve the engineering and performance year after year. I hope they win the Daytona 24 with their trick pony GT3 RSR mid engine .

When I contacted Fabspeed they said some cars will get a CEL. The only way to fully avoid it is with a tune.
