Not Cups. They occasionally paint a handful of Cups in a color other than white - red, black, yellow, etc - and the whole body-in-white is done.

Does make you question the PTS price for a simple over-spray...

I personally am not a shmee fan either but he does have a lot of followers and i do get the impression he is not short of a dollar ,,a lot of the premier car manufacturers seem to like his reviews also ,,I don,t get it possible generation gap but the guy seems to be popular ..
In regards to the original PTS question as far as I no it make no difference to the way the car is painted it only a none standard color ...
