How to install GPS-based PSE (exhaust) valve controller on a 991 GT3RS
#16
Does anyone have the torque specs for the engine cover?
Likewise, off the track, can i pull the unit and leave the wiring in the engine bay to the solenoid connected? Possibly to mount on the half-cage? I dont have the passenger side cargo net, :-(.
Finally, any better way to run the wire from the engine bay?, would like something nearly invisible.

The box itself is identical for all cars, and configured the same inside for all the cars you list. For 997-based cars, there is a jumper pin inside that needs to be moved.
The harnesses are different between the 981-based cars and the 991-based cars. Don't try to use a 981-based harness (GT4, etc.) on a 991-based car, nor vice versa,
I can make additional harnesses, or modify the one you have, if needed. Just PM if I can help.

How much would a 981 GT4 harness if I already have the box?
thanks!

To follow up, I got a 981 harness from Tom. It's perfectly fine to swap one Track Nanny between two cars (981 and 991 in this case) with harnesses installed. As Tom mentioned, you do need to short the harness leads though otherwise the PSE valves will be disconnected from the stock control and be in whatever state it is by default - in my case always open or loud.
