Default 991.2 GT3 and HRE

Was able to put HRE's on the car before the polar conditions set in here in the Northeast. After two days of rain ahead will get her back out this Sunday. Work and photos courtesy of Redline Speed Work in NJ.

I love that you went with Satin Bronze rather than a more common Black or Silver.

The R101LW has been our best selling aftermarket wheel for the 991.2 GT3 and for good reason. Clearly the styling is beautiful and the fact that it saves you lots of weight over the OEM wheels makes it a no-brainer.

Those look so good on the car. Are those the R101's?

They are the R101 Lightweights.

The standard R101's come in 17"-19" sizing.

The key to seeing the difference between the R101 and the R101 Lightweight is just the amount of pocketing around the lug holes, and the sides of the spoke. That super deep pocketing you see there only occurs with the R101 Lightweights, so that'll be a dead giveaway.

BlueGT3, your 991.2 GT3 looks gorgeous! Like Wheels Boutique, I concur about the finish choice, definitely spot on, I love it.

What are the weight savings per corner?

The last 20" R101 LW we weighed for a GT3 came in at 17.2 lbs for the front and 20.3 lbs for the rear respectively.

The OEM wheels come in at 24 & 27.

Difference of 27 lbs in total.
