Please post pics of Black GT3/T or 911r with stripes
Hi All,
Going through the internal debate of how to spec a touring. Black is the front runner by large margin, followed by agate with black stripes and side decals.
I would love to see pics of black 911Rs and GT3/T with stripes, especially matt black stripes and drak grey stripes.
The options being considered:
1) Black Trim, Titanium Wheels, matt titanium stripes
2) Black Trim, Matt Black Stripes (possible thin red pinstripe on side of dual stripes), Satin Black Wheels with Red Pinstripe or Brushed aluminium pinstripe (don't like all black wheels... need to seperate the tire)
3) Retro with chrome trim and brushed aluminium wheels

Thanks

Few nice pics of the black touring (along with Blue and GBM). Black retro with the alu trim and no stripes is my pick and if these pics don't convince you, nothing will.

For an idea of Touring, visit Instagram and search #911R.
Or the OT: 911R thread on Rennlist.

Just started using Instagram and it is amazing how many users and Porsche dealers use it to post pictures. Search #GT3 and you'll see what I mean.

Just an FYI, when I asked for the double stripes on my GT3, Porsche rejected it bc it was for the 911r. Not saying you wont get approved, or that you can't do it aftermarket, just setting expectations based on my experience

Yellow looks better than I expected. With satin black wheels and a yellow pinstripe, plus some PCCBs might look good. Then inside yellow stitching and yellow belts... hmmm
I am still going through the internal debate of winged vs no wing. touring is winning but barely. Jimmy D is partially to blame LOL... his Batmobile is awesome.
Really like the matt black stripes on some of the black 911Rs I have seen here over time.
Contracted NS2 to help with some renders.
Thanks and keep em coming

I would go after market ..........less BS from Porsche and cheaper too ,,,also allows you more freedom of color choice eg different shades of green , yellow or red etc not what Porsche tells you they have ..Your choices are unlimited going after market,,
you can virtually create your own 911 R with the touring GT3

that black with green...particularly with the ghost stripe caught my eye...and I ordered the set of black stripes with red Porsche logo for my black touring which arrives in the next few days...and I will have the guys install them. I have aluminum trim on mine...silver wheels...so if it doesn’t look good, it’s reversible. I like the stripes a lot...but out of respect to the 991r owners who paid the “freight” for their cars, will pass on that opportunity.
