Subscribed. like the build and the use of the Schroth 4 pt. I use the quickfits on my M3 with HANS as well. Really happy with the level of restraint even with stock seats. Think it would be plenty when in a bucket.

Very nice.

TTX vs. Bilsteins. Hhahaha. not even a decision there :-) You'll love them.

This is what mine will look like but I'll replace all the suspension arms & use 6pt belts. I'm familiar with the 4pt, they are good friends use in BMWs, I just prefer 6pt. .

That's great to hear. I went with Ohlins recommended setup of 572 / 913, so should match up nicely with Trofeo-R type grip and still offer good road manners.

Thanks, didn't realize that. Maybe my region might make it an option, (but I would still rather have 5/6 point harness. It's easy to push the sub back thru the hole or just install with clips/eyelets to make it easier to remove)

What are the “Winning Formula Seat brackets” you mention? Can you share more detail / provide a link?

Looks like a great build. You can easily disconnect the center latch and tuck the center seat belt of the 6-point under the seat (which I do before and after every track day). I’ll have to consider the 4-points for my GT3 build (assuming they can clamp your waist down as well as the 6-points).

IMO, if you want to keep stock arms, and not shim to the point of unsafe, this is a better solution, instead of adding solid pucks to stock arms, or using a whole solid puck/arm setup which is a lot more expensive. Been proven on many GT4 cars from my local shop, Winning Formula.

Looking forward to read how the handling will be Great build.

The shims help you maximize front track while increasing camber if you push the mounts to the most outward position on the suspension mounting tower.. I have the Tarrett "cup" control arms and they do a wonderful job. At the most outward position (opposite to the picture below) I get -3.5 camber and wider track with the shims. If I use the camber plate adjustment I can go as much as > 6 degrees.

Very interesting! Any benefits that you can directly attribute to the increase in front track (better turn-in, less understeer)?

Grant, it would be very difficult to measure the exact impact, however load transfer is inversely proportional to track width. I always maximize front track width, it also helps you run somewhat more rear camber on high powered 911s. Total front track width increase was 12mm each side + 4mm with wheel offset

So these showed up today. Test fit of the Elephant Racing rear upper monoball mounts with Ohlins, perfect fit.
These upper mounts are very nice I might add, def. a worthy addition to this suspension package. Will allow the rear dampers to do their job more efficiently, less stiction/side loading.

The front struts are like sculptures....build quality is as expected from Ohlins. More to come......

Thanks, Jean!

Mvez - those Ohlins are sweet!
