Default Striped Indoor Cover - 991.2 GT3 ..will it fit a 991.1 GT3?

Anyone have any experience with this cover? I saw it on SuncoastParts and they say it is only recommended for 991.2 GT3s. Are the 991.1 & 991.2 GT3s that different in shape that a car cover wouldn't
fit a 991.1 GT3? I know the wing was reshaped slightly, but are there any other significant body differences? Just curious if anyone has tried to fit it on the 991.1 GT3? Suncoast said if you buy it you can't return it.
I didn't want to be the first knuckle head to try it. I know, you all are going to say "if the don't recommend it, don't do it!" But it just looks so damned cool!

I think it's "recommended" because the stripe matches the chairs. Beyond that has to be pretty fungible between 991 mk 1 and mk 2. No material change in the dimensions. Assuming it is the same material as their other covers, it's sufficiently loose and stretchy that a half inch here or there doesn't make any difference.

My indoor cover for my GT3.1 fits my GT3.2 like a glove. I assume the reverse is also true.

I have had many car covers but this one is the best. Some one recommended on this forum- Carnewal. You specify the color and it is perfect. I even like it better than the Porsche indoor cover because some times it is too tight. This has just enough play; which I like. Plus- Black hides a lot of sins

No. The new cover will not fit a 991.1
You must dump your .1 for $120k and buy a 991.2 from dealer and add $10k ADM.
