If you look at my previous posts, I have suggested time and time again that 991.2 GT3 may come to an end at the year of 2018 as evident by news from magazines and also some member's production date of a MY2018 car as late as December 2018.

Well, I just got an email from my dealer that they have officially received word from PCNA today that all MY 2019 GT3 and GT2RS will now be MY2018 because, wait for it..... "MY2019 will not be offered for these models"!

Hate to say I told you so, but go get whatever you can get your hands on right now! I am never selling my GT3! LOL!

992 will be coming early 2019, Geneva reveal, anything 991 will be toast by the end of this year.

A 991.2 GT3RS reveal as the last hurrah perhaps?? Where's that cleaning lady when we need her..... :D

That confirms what my cleaning lady was told by PCNA but I'll wait until we get more evidence

EDIT: if true this will sadly add to the frenzy and hype around the 991.2 GT3 with values/ADMs/etc but at the end of the day it's just a car. Likely an amazing car I am sure, but if true there are still amazing options out there for those hunting for a 991.2 GT3 or something similar.

Didn't they do this with the 991.1 GT3RS? Aren't they all 2016 models even though they were still being delivered right into 2017?

^ They were all 2016 model year but production started in mid 2015, finished Dec 2016

UGH, was just contacted about a November customizable build at $20k over, I was fine waiting until the end of the 2019's to hopefully find a slot, but this news is making me rethink it. No word on PTS availability, but I would really like to not miss this car......

Interesting - for some reason, I thought cars built from the Fall of the calendar year are coded as MY for the following year. I guess this was more about marketing than a requirement?
