992 is to the 991.2 what the 488 is to the 458! Porsche is no fool, they saw what the 488s and Ford GTs did to the RSR. Demand for the 992 GT3 will skyrocket once the FI GT3 Cup / R / RSR start taking podiums in competitions worldwide! I'll be in line...

I agree. I'll be in line for a 992 GT3.

Current drama as follows:

"the 991.2 GT3 is the last naturally-aspirated model...better get one now...at all costs"
"the 991.2 GT3 is the last manual transmission model better get one now...at all costs"
"the 992 GT3 will be turbo-charged, better scoop up a 991.2 GT3 now...at all costs"

.....then the 992 GT3 will get released...and then...

Future drama:

"does anyone know where one can get a 992 GT3 at MSRP without the crazy ADMs going on?"
"...tough luck...all 992 GT3s are sold out bud"

It'll be a better car...

My comment was the obligatory log thrown in the fire, I have no reliable source for this information. I did hear something about sub 7 minute at the Nurburgring.

The list doesn't matter. It's all about relationships and money.

Im not sponsored or own a racing team. Not focused on shaving seconds off my lap times. I'm at the point with where faster is not necessarily better. 500hp is plenty and delivered w/o FI

I am actually more interested where the GT4 heads. Put a true motor sport engine in the mid-engine and take my money. I still think the GT4 is a prettier car but can not pass up on the 4.0

Think I'll wait for the 992.2, play it safe. You know, never want to buy first production run.

So true....those are the 20 people who won't get one either. First dibs will go to current GT3 owners first.

Waiting for Martin to bet that this isn't the case lol...

LOL! Good one! Honestly, there were several others that swear people should be “patient and wait” because there will be MY 2019 cars.

Yes, assuming they will build until December of 2018. Then essentially 1.5 years at most of production.

^^This. I plan on driving and enjoying the hell out of the car and not care about resale/value etc. Whether more allocations coming or not, last NA or not, life is too short and I am not spending this kind of money for an investment or a source of stress, but a source of pure enjoyment

Not sure what to believe, but can't say it would surprise me if this news is true. I'm just glad I've got my 991.2 PTS GT3 locked down and on the way. It gets tiring jumping through the endless hoops for these GT# cars and it was nice to skip that nonsense this time around. Although, as one poster mentioned above, getting on a list super early often doesn't guarantee you a GT# these days. And you can be sure dealers will use the info reported by OP, along with the Autocar report that N/A is ending for GT# cars, to push ADMs up even higher, especially as spring approaches. I have to hand it to PAG, though, it never fails to keep things interesting.
