I have been on the .2 configurator for ever since launch and have daydreamed about dealer calling me for an allocation.
Good thing I went to the track today in my .1 and realized that it is fast enough and loud enough for
me! Looks like I’ll be keeping it for a long while now (which isn’t a bad thing)!

I think higher MSRP's combined with ADM's are turning some off. A GT3 should be a $150K-$160K car. They're pushing the $$ too high. Next gen, builds will touch $200K+
Car sales will struggle more in the next 5 years than previous 5.

I think this is being driven by the 992 as a MY19 car. They can't have a 991.2GT3 as a 2019 if a 992 is a 2019 right? I also understand that the 992 production is now later than previously planned and will start being produced fall of this year as a 2019.

the "lists" of 992.1 GT3 might thin out if, and only if, the 992.1 GT3 PDK only and boosted....time will tell.
the US market love manual sports cars more so than ROW but maybe 50:50 on NA vs turbo

If you look at my previous posts, I have suggested time and time again that 991.2 GT3 may come to an end at the year of 2018 as evident by news from magazines and also some member's production date of a MY2018 car as late as December 2018.
Well, I just got an email from my dealer that they have officially received word from PCNA today that all MY 2019 GT3 and GT2RS will now be MY2018 because, wait for it..... "MY2019 will not be offered for these models"!
Hate to say I told you so, but go get whatever you can get your hands on right now! I am never selling my GT3! LOL!

If you have taken delivery of a 991.2 or have one on order, you should enjoy your car. Self inflicted worry or remorse will not add to your enjoyment of the car. There will always be the next great Porsche. I did hear something about 4.2 and 540 HP.

540HP--good likelihood.
4.2L--nahh, more likely 4L. doesn't make sense for P to put all the $$ into R&D into an engine that will not likely be seen in the 992 considering all the emission stuff going on in EU
