If I were you, I'd probably get rid of the RS - seems a pity/expensive to have one and not drive it. Its not a collectible. Plus its not you I've owned a 1985 Carrera, 964 and currently own a 993. If you're looking for a hoot but obviously not a daily, i'd almost pick the 3.2 late 80's Carrera. I like the sound and raw simple, analog feel of that era. Followed by the 993 then the 964. I really like the 993. It doesn't get crazy attention. Its a stick. Plus its air cooled and there's just something about an air cooled 911. The M491 (is that the correct #) wide body Carrera is also one to look at. Rare and super looking IMO. You can have fun in these older cars on the street. You have to take an RS (or any of these modern cars) to the track to explore its capabilities.

Do you love driving the RS? Will you miss it to death if you cannot drive it anymore?
- If Yes, then keep it, drive it occasionally and get something else as a fun daily.
- If No, then sell it and don't look back.
