Anyone used a Quickjack BL5000SLX?
I’m looking at purchasing a Quickjack. The 3500lb model is definitely too short but the 5000lb will be quite a tight fit between the tyres I think. Anyone have experience? I’ve done a search but can’t see any 991 GT3’s using them. Thanks.

No GT3 yet, so I can't help with actual experience on that car.
Should be easy to check to see if it fits. As low as the car is, you will want to slide them in from the side so measure the gap between the wheels to see if it fits in the down position, then measure the distance between the jack pads. I've got an original 5000 version, and my M3 just barely touches both jack points.
The website has the length of the jacks and jack pad pockets. I hope I can get a GT3, and that I'll be able to use my Quickjack with it.

I purchased a Danmar Max Jack, about 6 years ago.
I can place the arms without issue on a - 996 Cup Car.
Most weight i have had on the lift - King Ranch F250 4x4 diesel.

According to the European importer, it fits. I pick up the car next week and the lift should arrive at the end of the month so will soon find out for sure. I went for the 7000SLX for SUV lifting capacity but it's the same length as the 5000, albeit wider and heavier.

Thanks for all the responses. I used the quick jack guide for measurement guide and it will fit but ‘just’ and Quickjack recommend 2 inches of leeway either side which it definitely doesn’t have.
And to to make things more confusing my local supplier said that it won’t fit and they’re trying to make a slightly shorter one to fit the 991.

I'll have to test mine on the car, but I'm not a fan of these things. They seem like a great idea, but the execution is off. It takes 10 minutes to set-up which is just as long to set these up as using jack stands or Race Ramps. Plus each side weighs about 75 pounds. Then you have to put it somewhere in the garage.

Quick Jack 5000lb lift
I have a Quick Jack 5ooo lb model and a 2015 GT 3 Fits perfect and easy to use. Ideal is a 4 post lift but will not fit in the garage The lift is portable if you are training for the olympic weight lift. Short of it is it fits and works.

^ ThankS Matt. I did come across your video of you putting it together and was waiting for you to try it on the GT3. Please let me know when you do.
I do agree it’s more cumbersome than jackstands. I was looking at the Jackpoint Jackstands but the height Quickjack lifts the car is attractive to me in case I need to wash the underside etc.
