Default My GT3 is now V220

Did a quick search here, didn't see much...does that mean "locked and unchangeable?"
Also, the delivery date is end of March/2018.
My real question: There is a thread here suggesting cars are coming earlier than expected, so if something is V220 with that date stated is the date truly fixed, or are they separate issues (locked vs scheduled factory build date)?
Sorry if question seems confusing....basically wondering if still possible comes earlier than end of March.
Thanks.

Call your dealer and ask.

Perhaps a silly Q but here goes,
Who told you your car was V220?

Mine (C2S) came little earlier than promised. Hang in there; the anticipation is brutal, laying your hands on in at delivery is ecstatic. BTW: Please share your build specs.

Thx guys.
My SA told meV220, but had no thoughts on delivery date other than what was originally quoted to him months ago, "late March."
Then I saw the thread here about earlier builds and locking in your specs, and wondered if someone here knew with more "granularity" that if a build went V220 it generally was "X" time to build date (and earlier than anticipated).
Over the years on FChat I have found that usually the knowledge by trusted people on forum proved more accurate than what dealer tells me.
My friend got his GT3 about 4 weeks ago and I am really falling in love with this car.

My build is PTS Arena Red Metallic, manual, front lift, full leather/alcantera, PCCBs, CF, grey stitching (worried red might clash), Bose, a few other options (like aluminum pedals..lol)...and....yes...drumroll.......the dreaded....much derided....talked about.....cough..cough...sofa 18-way seats...oh..the horror!

Plan is to keep this one for the ages...in the Scuderia next to the prancing horses.

My .1GT3 was Arena red metallic. It's a very nice and understated color. You can park and not worry the car sticking out. The color can change dramatically depending upon the lighting. Nice choice, you will love it.

Gorgeous car!
I'm very excited.
My first Porsche was Arena red, 1997 993 Cab, loved that color...never ever ever should have sold that car.
I won't make the same mistake twice.

Arena Red is a great PTS choice on the GT3. Here's another representation of the color.

Awesome color choice. If I had the choice to go PTS that would have been my pick, my father's 993 is Arena Red and it is my second favorite Porsche color of all time. It is such an awesome, understated, rich red color. Very excited for you and can't wait to see pics when it's delivered

As for your vehicle status, from my own experience I went from V200, V215, to V250

At V215 it was tough for me to make changes so I would assume the same for you at whatever 220 is, but it shouldn't "lock" and be fixed until 250 unless I am mistaken if you need to make any last minute changes

This is Arena Red metallic??? I am in love. I always wondered what this color was.

It looks like a nice Cabernet

Would look killer w/Satin Aluminum wheels

Then you made an excellent choice. My .2 is black with Satin Alum and looks great. Satin Alum compliments darker cars

I am looking forward to when you post pictures
