Burning Brakes
Agreed. They did a great job with my 991 GTS. They also make the time to take pretty good photos of the cars. Rather than some dealers that appear to run around the car, outdoors, taking photos with a flip phone.
Nice car Jennifer !

'BoxsterBabe' handle! That's a classic!
As rxtrom said, 'Amaranth Red Metallic' was not a PTS color in MY2014...but
not many ordered it. So it's rarer in a .1 991 gt3 than probably 'Signal Green',
'Arena Red Metallic', 'Fashion Grey' & other popular PTS colors!

'Amaranth Red Metallic' was a Porsche 'special color' 991 offering for it's intro
late MY2012, MY2013 & MY2014. It's named after the beautiful perennial plant:

I know of only three other 'Amaranth' 991 gt3, although there may be others of course!
1) Vin #WP0AC2A90ES183304
This car was for sale in Chicago.

2) And this Canadian gt3:

3) And this posted by our old friend Macca in 2014:

At the time I posted :

Interestingly enough, 'Amaranth Red' can NOT be ordered today via PTS at Porsche, which keeps the color particularly 'rare'!

Jennifer, enjoy your beautiful 2014 'Amaranth Red Metallic' 991 gt3!

Eduardo -
Many thanks for providing ^ these details. Wow - you are a walking library of information on Porsche colors! Much appreciation for sharing your wealth of knowledge.
Re: my handle - I thought about changing it when I bought my .2 Carrera 4 GTS. I decided to keep it since it traces my evolution as a P-car owner. I still have the Boxsters and enjoy driving them; they are just a different driving experience than the GTS. I am anxiously awaiting much warmer weather to be able to try out the GT3. Cup tires and 15 degree road temperature do not go together. In the meantime, I did get a chance to wash off the road salt from the trip home.
"Gigi's" first wash - does everyone name their cars? That should be a poll!
Kudos to the original owner, who chose great options including leather dash and leather on the steering column with deviated stitching.
How much longer until Spring?!

Absolutely beautiful... enjoy when the weather permits...my GT3 sits in the garage staring balefully at the snow with only its delivery miles for the past month.
