Default How to check if touring has CARB approval yet?

Per SA it is EPA certified, but waiting on CARB, how can one check online? I have googled as much as I can. My baby deserves her heated garage not some snowy port outside.

It should not be distinguished from GT3 which does as they have landed in CARB states already.

Thanks CJ, I agree, but unfortunately my SA tells me it is showing that EPA (and thus CARB) treated it as a different model and it needs CARB approval. If you know different, that would be great. Mine is my dealer’s first touring so we are flying blind. If anyone in a CARB state has received a touring, that would be awesome to know.

I live in California and am told the same (Touring is EPA certified, but waiting on CARB cert). It makes absolutely no sense, as the Touring model is just an option, but it is what it is. Mine is due to land in the Bay Area next week, and I'm told it could sit at the port for up to a month. This is after it sat at the port (Emden) in Germany for a month. I will try to get more info from my SA today. If I get any new info, I'll post here.

Thanks CJ, Chris and Brett.

If you guys would just call it a Touring OPTION instead of a touring MODEL this never would have happened!!!

Or as Porsche calls it, the Touring PACKAGE. It boggles my mind that they would complicate things to this extent.

Anyone have any update? This is insufferable. I am thinking about calling PCNA to complain.

Not in their hands. Call CARB and complain.

Please do and let us know. I think I'll also contact a woman high up in customer service at PCNA, who I met at the LA Auto Show. I'm not optimistic that they'll be helpful.

I'll be driving back from Lake Tahoe tomorrow right by the Benicia port where my touring is waiting to be released. Maybe I'll be able to see it from afar
