PTS order v200 status=no change on config ?
Hi guys,
My PTS order is now in V200 status, the vehicle fixed date (v250) is set at 3/30/2018. I have called my dealer trying to make changes to my build. The request has been submitted about 1 month ago, and no reply from Porsche. My dealer told the build is essential locked, and there will be no more changes allowed. Is this normal for Porsche to lock the build before the vehicle fixed date ?

See the PTS thread. They do some goofy stuff with the PTS allocations.
Your dealer cannot make changes now. However, the folks at Porsche should be able to. I believe PCNA must unlock the order to allow the dealer to make changes. Then it goes back to V180 for a while. Production and delivery dates may change a bit as well.
There is a reason my car is white.
Good luck!

What is the actual current vehicle status on the build sheet? If it is V200, it should be changeable no problem. If it is V215 (like many PTS cars), then PAG needs to either make the changes or change the status so the dealer can make the changes.

No way this build is locked, your PTS paint is not even ordered. At V200 you can even request a color change, while V215 locks your color, but other options are changeable. If your dealer is not doing their job, I would then get PCNA involved. I am not sure why some PTS allocations go V200, as I went from V180 to V215 and never at V200.

I'd start by asking your SA to attempt the change. As mentioned above, V200 is not locked. As a matter of fact, for "normal" Porsches, once dealerships have an allocation, it quickly goes to V200 then sits there until lock date, which according to the screen shot you posted, is not until end of March

I currently have an April PTS allocation at v180. I have some CXX options that I'm adding in addition to a few changes that I want to make and Exclusive told me to wait for it to flip to v200 before I do anything. They could unlock it at v180, but it could jeopardize my PTS slot, so they recommended that I wait. I think because it's a PTS slot, PCNA or Exclusive needs to get involved. Non-PTS builds can definitely be changed at v200 by the SA.

PTS lead time and feasibility / ordering is tricky for some stores if they don't have a good relationship with PEC/Exclusive but as said above NOBODY from ATL or the head honcho offices in PAG is at work until after new years now. They even cut off reporting sales Dec 23
