Default EVO Car of the Year

Looks like EVO watered down its car of the year with multiple categories and new rules that basically will keep Porsche GT cars from winning again, at least in this ADM/limited supply market. McLaren 720S is a deserving car however.

I've owned a 991.1 GT3 and a GT3RS as well as a McLaren 570S. I've driven the 720S (Oh my goodness!!). I have to admit, I don't disagree with their winner. Had the 570S won, I would have cried foul, bias, etc..
Maybe Porsche can take notice: "In addition, for a car to be eligible for consideration, you must be able to place an order for one, and not need to be a ‘special’ customer to do so. In other words, no unobtainium." I love Porsche to death but am really getting fed up of "begging" to buy a car at the suggested price, aka GT2RS. Plus I woulddn't have had a chance to buy an R, for example, a car that I would have loved to get at sticker (I was offered one at a bargain price of $550K). My plan is to get a 720S if I can't get a GT2RS at sticker, and I'm not sweating the decision. Sure the GT2RS is likely to destroy the 720S on track (comparable drivers) but that's it for superiority, nothing else.

i think its redic to think a car that is xxx times the cost is not suppose to win. It should, who really cares, its what you like.

Can't argue the 720 although it's base price is $100K over a very equipped GT3, not exactly apples to apples.
