In in terms of my build, it is relatively simple. Buckets, front lift, Bose. A few minor visual things like the black/ red wheels, anthracite aluminum trim (which looks way better than my carbon fiber in .1, imo), red belts, red steering wheel marker and fire extinguisher. BTW, Bose is great, not an audiophile system, but way, way better than sound package plus. The sub integration is great!
And the new infotainment system is by far the best I have seen. Apple car play is great, but Porsche software is better, imo.
First off, best use of the black wheels with red stripe; till now, I had not really warmed up to them.

Can you please elaborate on the Bose vs Sound Package plus. Did you have a chance to demo them fairly side by side? The last time I did that (albeit in a Boxster a couple years ago), I didn't think the sound package plus was that bad and went with it on my car. Sounded fine in that application. Wondering if it is much different now. More details appreciated.

From my own inspection, it seems they did a nice job, but again, I’m not an expert. Has anyone used these guys in the Bay Area?
Suntek and Xpel are both top choices in the industry. You will notice the clarity is excellent for a PPF. So rest assured your dealer chose well.

comparison is based on memory, but, unfortunately, I have been into music and audio for too long. There is no comparison. They call it sound package plus, but it’s like clock radio as others have mentioned. I had upgraded my late .1 gt3 audio with top of the line Focals and a footwell sub. Still, the source sucked, so you still got crap out of those speakers, albeit much better than the stock. Now the Bose I feel may not have audiophile speakers, but the overall sound and music it produces is miles ahead of the sound package plus. Think flat AM radio vs sound and music that has depth, that’s the best I can describe it. I think the subwoofer has a lot to do with it.

I also did not get the sport chrono clock on this car, which I think interferes with soundstage, etc.

Another observation forgot to mention. The PSE flaps on this .2 GT3 open earlier. In the .1, it opened around 3500 rpm. In the .2, it opens at 3000 rpm. Interestingly, I felt it may be variable, however, depending which gear you are in. Still need to drive more to confirm, but for sure, when in 6th gear, flaps open at 3k rpm.

Congratulations. Very nice looking car. I have Suntek on my car and wouldn't hesitate to have it installed on the next one.

I don’t think the road feel has improved. I wish... And still, 997 has way better road feel in the steering, imo.
