Cars get allocated by dealers to best customers (subjectively), and there is a big effort going on to drop 'flippers' from future allocations.
Same in Australia, no ADM, but base price is a killer. .2 GT3 is $380,000 Aus or about $300,000 US

Porsche will make far more GT-2rs's than last time just to reduce flipping and make more money. The real reason more GT-2 ,GT-3 are not made is CAFE standards..for average fuel economy.......

One way to ameliorate this problem is to only buy cars you know you can get without hassle. Turbo S, AMG GTR, Mclaren 570, or even a 991.1 GT3 check the box.

Not the same car, but far less stress about ADM, dealer butt-kissing and other nonsense is a huge plus.
