GT3 RS vs GT3 991.2 Pricing
In Europe at least when the GT3 991.2 was announced prices in the initial wave of GT3 RS came off by about 40/50k as we went through the usual p/x process. When this oversupply was bought they bounced by about 20k. However, several months later now when the GT3 991.2 is freely available, 991 GT3 RS prices are at new lows. Does this mean that the GT3 991.2 is that much of a better drive now people have been able to test it ?? having not driven both cars would be grateful from people whom have ?

Simply from a looks standpoint the 991 GT3 RS is by far the winner, somehow the 991.2 GT3 just seems too angular by comparison with no design flow

For the same price, I would get a used RS over a new GT3.2, simply based on looks and the RS ambiance, less about actual performance stats. My only hesitation would be that I wouldn't know if the used RS was used or abused, whereas the GT3 would be brand spanking new.

I would always prefer the GT3 RS over the non RS, because technology wise it's much closer to a race car and looks so much better!
I do not care about theoretical laptimes of a pro at the NoS.

Zactly. RS is RS. Prices go up they go down they go up etc...
If .2RS is hard to get and ADMs then naturallly follow .1RS values wiill go up and stablize.
In the U.S. .1RS still bring more than MSRP used. Not bad for a 2 year old car. Not many cars can pull off that trick.

A friend of mine tried to trade his .2 GT3 in today for a .1RS. They offered him sticker for his .2 and 10k over for the RS. I would have thought the dealer would have offered a few thousand more for a nice build .2.

exactly! Not sure why anyone would buy one of these cars based on price. You either want a RS or the GT3. I personally prefer the GT3 for many reasons. I wouldnt mind an RS in my garage, in addition, though. May be in a few years.

Gonna be a lot people taking a big hit paying 185 for a GT3.2. Some won't care but those that do wont be happy. They will build a ton of the .2 GT3.
