Did you gulf blue arrive early, or is the one at Melbourne for someone else? I noticed it has an alcantara wheel and shifter which is the first I have seen in a touring. Must be CXX or they did a swap.

Cool, and sorry to bother you. I know what the wait is like. I look forward to seeing it. And 20C4S, thank you, I can’t wait to see it. Lots of people have said they think mine would look better with black accents and wheels. Having gone through the “registry” compilation process it is neat to see how people spec the same color differently. Some things I thought in the abstract, why would you spec it like that, have turned out great. BTW, I am up to 81 cars.

Went with silver wheel. Not a fan of black wheel. I decided to go with black trim because the GT3 has too many black plastic trims already. That's why I still think mk1 911R looks better than mk2 GT3. Black headlight is a must for me because I think the 991 headlights are visually oversized(for me). The chrome trim is classy though. Works really well when the color of the car has enough contrast to it.

On a related note: Would anyone be willing to take a hi-res, dead-on photo of their "GT3 touring" badge from the rear deck lid? I've found a few on Google Image Search, but most have reflections or are off-center, etc. I reckon I can use it to make a stencil, and just approximate what the size should be for my headrest cover embroidery...

lol...not at all. We are very lucky here, no ADM and normally get a small discount off MSRP on GT cars. But.....our cars are expensive. A GT3 is in the order of $400k with options.

i purchased the GT3 not knowing I would get an allocation for a GT3 RS. Plus, I always have less cars then my wife has handbags so we get on perfectly!
