I took my uncle with me for the delivery as my guest...which was fitting, as he was my introduction to the brand when I was five years old in the late 70's cruising at much higher rate of speed than we should've been in his viper green 911S.

The 911R shifter looks fantastic. I think you've just convinced me to get one. Do you know if you have to change the whole boot etc, or could you keep the same boot and leg and just screw on the ****?

The shifter above is the standard Touring shift **** in carbon. it comes with with the silver top with the 1-6 gear marks and the black stitching. The R **** has a black top with engraving and the silver grey stitching. As far as I know the leather boot is hard to switch out but I could be wrong

Factory said no to my request for a CF shifter. Maybe it’s a UK thing or maybe because of
rushinf things before factory closure...not sure

Hey Mike, your Viper Touring is INSANE (and insanely rare). One of the hottest colors of all time, across all brands. And on the Touring it is a total knockout. Congrats on superb build. Must feel great. Enjoy.
