A little mountain drive tells a lot
Just back from a little drive on mountain roads .. Nothing special, about 40 km of very twisty road with a lot of narrow esses and camber changes, mostly second a third gear.
This Touring is very well judged for road driving.
Massively involving with significantly lower limits than the RS and just that correct amount of body roll that transmits the sensation of where the limit lies but gives confidence.
On broken pavement is marginally more compliant than the RS but more confortable.
Scrapped the front lip a couple of times, but on such roads is OK.
Very nice engine for road driving with proper amount of torque that gives you the option to use second or be more relaxed but still fast in third in the narrow sections.
It is my impression that feels narrower and easier to place than the RS on very twisty and narrow roads.
Very much satisfied.
Currently about 1500 km in about one week.
Here a picture just back in the office.

Did not push above 6000 rpm, but the sound is very nice above 5000 already.

Hi Cebe,
Congratulations to your GBM Touring! Did you engage the frontlift on the twisty mountain roads? I plan a trip to Ticino myself, with some B roads (such as from Losone-Arcegno-Ronco-Brissago). Some curves there seem to be steep and narrow. Let‘s see whether the lift can master this...
