I really like those brown seats, but one thing I am confused about:
Aren´t your seatbelts supposed to be routed through the seat at the side bottom of the seat shell?

Good pick up. Yes they are supposed to be. When seats were put back in they forgot to route them correctly. Need to take back after decals are put on to route them through (or do myself)

Default Mine is almost here

Thank you to all Touring owners that have posted pictures on this 3d, they have been a great inspiration.

Finally I was able to order mine and it just arrived in Switzerland from Germany (no official car for me had to import one).

I will go to pick-it-up in Zurich next Friday.

Here is a picture of it still on the trailer.

To find one was a real challenge, as I did not want two very popular options: bucket seats and black wheels.
I also did want the chrome trim.

I am very interested to see how it will compare to my "old" 991 GT3 RS mk1, that I used extensively with about 15.000km in two years.

I am also planning to install some road-biased tires as soon as the original SC2 will be toasted.
I did not really like them for road use in the rain or winter time.

Default Leather Seat Inserts instead of cloth

Has anyone tried to CXX full leather on the 18 way Adaptive Seats in place of the cloth? Those of you who have taken delivery with the cloth, how do you like it?

Beautiful! I like the look of that wing much better than the fixed one that's always up at 30mph around town.

Chris, I couldn't find your thread in relation to cabin noise etc, did you ever get to complete the sound tests etc as I was interested in the final outcomes.

Tail on touring looks good and fixed tail looks great too! We all ordered what we wanted for ourselves and part of the same club)))) this one is better than the other stuff is ridiculous banter. We all make choices in our best interest.

Default Professional pictures before delivery

Some pictures among the many the Swiss garage has sent me before delivery ...
I believe it has a classic look.

Best profile for a 991 IMHO

Just a regular 991 driving environment, but comfortable for long trips with wife

Beautiful simple spec. Just hold on the long trip aspirations with the wife until you have driven it. You can forget listening to music for example...or even hear her talking.. (unless thats the idea!! )

Thank you for the advise ... but I am coming from a 991 GT3 RS MK1 and our last trip, about 10 days ago, was 2000 km roundrip to the 24h of the Nurburgring ... and she likes driving, as well ...
After the RS with plexiglas windows in the back at 200 km/h plus on the autobahn, the Touring will feel positively quiet in comparison ...
