Got my car back (finally) yesterday. My wife and I drove out to Half Moon Bay on the most beautiful day today (low 70's). Had lunch at the Ritz Carlton and parked next to a 997 GT3. After lunch we drove down HWY 1 to 84, then back over the hills to Bay Area. All I can say is, the car is spectacular. I've said it before, but it's amazing how I feel so connected and at one with this car. It simply is perfect. The amount of grip this car has is amazing. Stopped by my brother's and took some pictures with his 993 turbo.

Congrats on getting the car back, hopefully this time for good Great shots of stunning cars, you and your bro have good taste in Porsches, two of the best. That area and drive is stunning.

Thanks. When I picked up the car, I told them I'm not bringing it back this time I have to say, Porsche Walnut Creek was amazing thru the whole thing. They were very generous, understanding, and did everything I asked about ensuring my car was well cared for and getting it back as soon as possible.

That black Porsche text threw me, because I was looking at the exhaust tips thinking "they look like chrome exhaust tips, I thought they were black on a black Touring". You truly have a unique car. Any more thoughts on changing the lettering?

It was mistakenly released before receiving it's emissions certification. My SA firmly asked me to to return it, and because he's a close friend, I complied. I was originally told it would be 2 weeks, but in the end, it was 2 months. I did have a new Macan loaner and was also compensated with a few more perks for the car. My dealer, Porsche Walnut Creek, was great thru the whole thing. PCNA, not so much. They provided no updates thru the the whole thing, and when I called customer service, they only thing they would tell me was that the car was stored in doors.

I already am, thanks. I've dreamed of a special 911 for 40 years, so this car will not be under appreciated or taken for granted. I plan to keep it forever, and will drive it as intended.

Chris - planning on doing some of the same drives in the area up from SoCal with my GT3 and my father and his Arena Red 993 Coupe later this year. Would be fun to get all 4 cars together for some cool shots, realized your GT3 has no wing, mine does, your bro's AR 993 has a wing, my old man's doesn't Too bad my GT3 isn't white!
