Pending move down to Monterey, which means dealing with tree sap. I love black, but not on a car I expect I'm going to have to touch a lot. Decided GT Silver was the better part of valor for me. It was my original choice, before I changed to black, but then the wife talked me into this house.

Totally understand. Black (especially A1) is a lot more work. I have a 997 C2S (which I will be selling to make room in my garage) in GT Silver, and
it is one of my favorite colors for a 911. It may be the best looking color when dirty, and stunning when shiny. A great choice!

^^^^There are a few black Tourings w/ side stripes around, and I'd post here if Rennlist wasn't so plagued with bugs .

Look in black Touring thread (maybe about headlights) think I posted one there.

Also, just look at 911Rs. Same look and there are probably a couple hundred black ones.

Just prior to getting on the truck to head to Houston.

Hello to the Touring Thread. I just picked up my new Touring from Park Place in Dallas. They said it was their first Touring to come through the dealership. I drove it last night for the first time, and all I can say is "Wow"! So much different from any other the other 911s I have driven! I came out of a GTS cab, and a 991.2 Turbo and I could not be more impressed. It seems like a whole different type of car, especially with the 6 speed manual. Buckets definitely take a different technique to get in and out of, especially for a 50+ year old. I will post more as I get to know the car a little better.

^^^ Wow that is a really cool spec. The agate + black wheels with red lip + red calipers and black LEDs looks sinister. Congrats and enjoy in good health, looking forward to more pictures!!

...a terrific dealership

...she arrived this afternoon!... weeks earlier than anticipated... and I’m at the airport going to Florida!... torture!
My SA, Jonathan Wein, a real straight-shooter, was nice enough to send me a few teasers!
... all leather interior including seat backs on 4way ss+... can’t wait to get back!
