The OFFICIAL GT3 Touring owners pictures thread..

Hi, yes, I know that, and I realise I didn't tell the whole story I know the red is available but I want GT Silver stiching to match the exterior. In the German (and US) configurator there is an option for other colors. It has also been confirmed by my dealer, even though it's not available in the Swedish configurator.
Do you have steering column in leather? In that case, do you know if the red stiching follows?

Edit, you mean Porsche Exclusive, - that you have to order through the Porsche dealer direct here.

Have you been on the German configurator? The option is called XVX and I have the .pdf to prove it
Disclaimer - I configured my car on the German configurator Thursday, maybe they removed it today?

Deviated stiching was discussed a few pages back in this thread (on p33), so I'll post my question here.
I have decided to go for dev stitching but when using the German configurator (the Swedish one doesn't show the stiching option) ticking the box cancels the steering column in leather... With deviated stiching the leather column would really pop, I think, so it's strange these two cancel each other out. Can someone confirm wheather this is true or if in fact dev stiching and leather steering column work together, and it's just a bug in the configurator?

In USA configurator there are two steering column options. XVA is steering column with deviated stitching and is the option you need to select if you want deviated stitching in a color OTHER than black or red for touring package. XVA would be bundled with XVX.
If you select touring package with black or red stitch then you need XNS for leather steering column. This would be bundled with 749 and 34 for example with red stitch. From what I have been told from non touring GT3 owners who have taken delivery this option XNS will have the "default" deviated stitching so black or red for touring (silver for non touring is an option). The 3D configuration also seems to confirm this. Will only know for sure when the car arrives! Good luck!

To wait and see until it arrives, how it turned out, that's probably a bit too exciting for me

Interesting, thanks! In the German configurator there is only one leather steering column, and as I said, it is cancelled when XVX is chosen, without any further instuctions or directions... It probably has to do with the option restrictions on the Touring, maybe not everything was "switched on" when XVX was switched on.
