It looks like you replaced the whole engine lid net (since the original has a hole where the badge sits...)? Please post close-up photo! TIA :)

Those were definitely my two favourite trips with this beautiful, beautiful vehicle, so far
A quick ride to Kühtai in late May and track day at Salzburgring one week later, early June. Both in Austria. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...d295273037.png https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...867c76b442.png https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...7d1166c2b9.png https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...acfc99eaba.png This car has breathtaking performance and while the manual really means a lot of work on a race track (especially on the brakes), it is one so much more intense experience. Unlike cars from other makes, the GT3T didn´t even bother the 350km track kilometers. He just feels home on a race track. It was my very first track ever with a car and the first laps on the passenger seat on my car with a professional racer on the wheel left me speechless. There were some cars of other rmakes, who literally killed their brakes, although they were the specific "track tool" of the model. One stint was roughly 15 laps and the GT3 performed consistently from lap 1 to the end. It didn´t even flinch once. Drive there - set tire pressure - track - refill - track -refill - resett tire pressure - drive home - happily fall asleep. That´s all I had to do that day. Amazing! |
Yeah, I love the satin look, too. It highlights the curves so much better than glossy color IMHO. It is also really easy to take care of.
It is actually "tiefschwarzmetallic" wrapped in XPEL Stealth: https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...adfb885d2b.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/rennlis...95621fe231.jpg |

How nicely does it fit in the front boot?will it be offered in the Touring Black cloth and what is the cost?

Oooooh. What sizes? $? How do I order????
This is a highly customizable item, made with the same materials as in our cars. They use the same suppliers for their items (I was told). I can’t say for certain but I’d be surprised if they couldn’t do it in any material including that corduroy ... “as long as it’s offered by Porsche it can be sourced”. This started from the 000 magazine site... go to the store and it is the 000 travel bag... I made inquires and it snow balled from there. Price depends on your selection of materials, stitching etc. I’ve done additional pockets inside which added up.... think of it as CXX for a bag (ran by the former chief of the CXX program). |

Its made to fit into the frunk, so nothing to worry about there! It’s only one size.

The history of these bags began with the idea of using the high rear package shelf of the 991 series cars—the one just under the rear window—for a custom shallow/wide/deep piece of luggage. My preference was leather, vinyl, or even carpeting to match the car so it disappears into that space and doesn't look like it's there when you're traveling. Sascha surprised us with a first prototype at RR6 (which was actually stolen from the 000 booth but later returned thanks to a very observant Rennlister). Didn't think about custom bags for the frunk initially, so it's been fun to watch subsequent bags made. Hat's off to Sascha and his crew as well as a group of highly creative customers. |
