CXX from Factory. A kick in the nutz on price but worth every penny on style that generates smiles when seen in person.

Haha! I know how that goes.

The "Grinch" looks great. Well done.

Excited to hear the reviews once you put some winter miles on it.

Ty! Alex is a GREAT guy. Sad he moved from West Broward to Palm Beach Porsche.

I'm sad though most likely trading the Targa for the Touring as new daily driver.

Would anyone who CXXed "touring" on the headrests be willing to do me a big favor..?

I'd like to have it embroidered on my set of Crazy Eddie's headrest covers, but am lacking good photos and measurements to do so.

Would greatly appreciate it if someone who CXXed it could snap some hi-res, straight on photos, and take a few quick measurements. I'll treat you to lunch at Alice's if you find yourself in the Bay Area this spring!

Happy Holidays, all.

‘same dilemma here. It’s hard letting go of the Targa though. The cars are just so different.

JPMD and JAM2...That’s a tough decision. I’ve got a 2016 GTS Cab with PDK that I’m keeping because it drives different, PDK and of course a full open top. Most important reason is my wife will be pissed since she prefers the PDK. Time will tell on whether I live or die if I ever change my mind!

Good points and observations guys.
Well the Targa is gone on the trade for the GT3 Touring. The Touring is IMO the ultimate all around Porsche at the moment, has the classic shape/silhouette and should make for an amazing daily driver. Will I'm sure however miss some of the comfort features and practicality of the Targa. For me it came down to trying to get more use from the Touring. In my mind if I kept the Targa the Touring would not get enough use. Will see how it works out.

Really tough call - in the same boat, my Targa is a 16 Targa4GTS in a 7MT, one of the first that was delivered (post on here somewhere). Not many of them around and a load of fun - will be interested to hear your thoughts after a few weeks/months once the newness wears off. Beautiful Touring!
