Latest and greatest, including incoming cars of which I am aware.

Hello evilfij, I depart tomorrow for Germany, I'll be taking ED Nov 27 of a blue (not seen above) PtS Touring (black trim). Dealer is Southpoint (NC), it rides on black wheels with steel brakes. PLDS lights & LWB. CXX = painted vent slats and key.

evilfij 11-24-2018 10:30 PM

Have a safe trip Bruce and enjoy!

Post pictures when you get it (and tell us which blue ;)) and I will update your entry.

Just the ones from the gram.

Absolutely stunning. Wow.

I have dreams of a Ruby Touring with matching inserts to match the 964 RS interior:

my oak touring is not long off now... looking to be a month late getting it to the dealer around mid december. pretty sure its already on Montoya's list.

Congrats. I somehow missed yours when I was adding incoming cars zmon.

Thanks nxfedlt1. Congrats. I will add you (which puts Meerblau in first place as the most popular PTS Touring color on the registry — for good reason the color looks great, especially with chrome trim :)). What color are the wheels? I include the obvious big visual options so when spotting new cars I can see if it is already on the list.

Please post some pictures when the wrap is done. I have been adding them to the “registry” once they are delivered and we have pics (or other confirmation).

thanks! seems none of us spec'd the car exactly the same. Mine has the standard silver wheels, standard stitching and aluminum trim. I'm hoping the wrap will be finished early December; water here is 1150 PPM so it needs a full wrap.

Here some pics of my Jet Black GT3T. Acid Green deviated stitching interior

Leipzig European delivery Nov 5, to be redelivered to Porsche Fresno

Also forgot Perimeter’s Gulf Orange and found a sport classic grey which was at rare shades 2. Registry has 60 cars.

PS love the leather vents GT3touring.

ruuddevil 11-26-2018 12:28 PM

I think the sport classic grey was actually geyser grey.

LOL!

@GT3 , thanks a lot for the link. I’ll contact my Porsche center.

Quick follow up Q to my RPM issue (hitting the rev' limiter at 8,500 RPM vs 9,000): Porsche is saying it is caused by the low Octane in California (max you can get here is 91, rated per R+M/2 method). Does this resonate with people? Any GT3 drivers in CA whose GT3's rev to 9k?

This should be an interesting topic. . . . Should this be the case, what does Porsche say about octane boosters, from autoparts store, added to the fuel at fill up time?

That sounds like complete BS to me. Have them put that in writing.

Mine does, but I usually blend in a few gallons of 100 octane.
