I really like the stripe, but think it may look better with the Porsche lettering in the same silver color, especially given the black door handle (would make that stand out more). I really wanted my car to look like this, but opted for the GT Silver. If my wife ever let's me get another one, it will be red.

I wouldn't touch the wheels. They are a perfect match for the chrome windows.

A brighter silver or white decal (to better match the wheels) and same color lettering would look better.

So, first pic of my car - at last.... Ordered in January, built end of May.
There will be more pictures once I take delivery of it, which will be on Friday. Spec/color maybe not as extravagant as some others here. Instead I went for something more downtuned but something I can probably live with for many years to come: GT Silver / Satin black wheels / full leather / foldable buckets / deviated stiching in GT-S / white instruments / black Al trim / FAL and maybe some other small things. These next days are going to be outright torture...

Default Comparison between two colors

Here is my car with a friend I met at a racetrack...
May help about a comparison between colors and trims.

Scott: I see you have the 18 ways with deviating stitching. Do the headrests have the Porsche Crest, or do they say GT3 with deviating stitching? How about rear center tunnel - does it have GT3 in deviating stitching?

My seats have the Porsche crest, rather than GT3 in stitching. I didn't get leather on the rear tunnel. So, it's just plain carpet.

Thanks. When ordering deviating stitching (GT Silver in my case), the dealer / Porsche order build sheet (not shown on the configurator) defaults to a few items which I am hoping only apply to the winged cars, such as seat headrest logo (build code #24104) and rear center tunnel cover model logo (build code #24102) in deviating stitching. I prefer the crest and no logo on rear tunnel, which based on your car seems to be what will happen with the Touring, even though these codes show up on the build sheet.

Are the sides of your center console leather or vinyl? I can't find anything that says which it is. Even the extended leather option does not seem to add leather to the sides of the console, so I am wondering if it is already leather, or simply can't be ordered in leather (other than possibly CXX). I saw a 718 GTS the other day with extended leather, and the sides of the console were leather with stitching, but can't seem to see anything on the configurator which does this to a GT3.

^^^^The front center tunnel sides come in PVC type vinyl material. If you want them leather, you can select 'Center Console Tunnel Sides in Leather' on the configurator for $1,020. The rear tunnel is carpet, and can only be made leather via CXX for roughly $3,500.

What I am referring to is the sides of the console itself (which continues down from the center dash with a break about half way down the nav screen), not the transmission tunnel "flaps" below the sides of the console. According to the Porsche design center, the option you refer to (XZM ) only makes the "flaps" below the sides of the console leather, not the sides of the console itself. But I would be interested to hear from someone who has actually taken delivery of a car with XZM option to find out if the information I am getting is accurate.

Strange that the 718 extended leather option clearly makes the sides of the center console leather, with stitching and all, but not on the GT3. Check out the configurator for both.
