The OFFICIAL GT3 Touring owners pictures thread..

Some renders we recently tied up for a member here. The first two are highly detailed to nail the details, the others were based on the recently released pictures of the GT3 Touring from Monaco for a photo-realistic look. GBM looks great with a ghosted stripe!

Ideally yeah we would like to go this route but the colors just arent vintage colors...too bright..racing yellow is pretty bright..
I’m hoping a touring shows up in yellow or orange before I lock on the 3rd.

Crappy pictures but it's easy to see how how on other deck lid designs, the grille was carried down a bit between the brake lights making it appear more significant and cohesive. Not the case on the Touring. Minor detail but adds a lot IMO.
*Edit The Touring badge seems like an afterthought as well.

This is my single criticism of the Touring. That little deck lid with the Touring badge slapped on it. The 911R design appears more significant. Still not as nice as the design of my .1 GTS but much better than the Touring, which looks like an afterthought.

I love how low key it is. It’s a perfect combination of massive capability together with subtle looks. I think those looking for something a little more shouty will simply opt for the wingy version.

I do wish the Touring had the vents below the spoiler like the .1's and the R have. That would have made it unquestionably the best IMHO.
It's also not really fair to judge the Touring by the horrible blue car they had at the Frankfurt IAA. The rear looks a lot better on the other colors I've seen it in.

You are right about not judging it until you see in person.
But disagree about the 991 GTS. Nothing cheap looking about its rear deck lid. Just the opposite. Quite distinctive and high quality. Edges are polished. Look at one up close one day, specifically on a rear-wheel drive model without AeroKit Cup or SportDesign (duck). Pictures do no justice. The older style wider fins on the (as on SportDesign) do look a bit less distinctive to me though. Obviously purely subjective, and apologize for posting something off topic.
