Would have liked to see them run the full GP course there at Hockenhiem and seen the speed on the long stretch.

Neighbor got a Performante last week. Haven't got a ride yet but it sure sounds spectacular in the garage! haha At 6'3" it was a very tight fit for me. Not sure I could have worn a helmet in there. Not that I would ever have the opportunity to anyways!

As far as I know the performante is not limited. I really like it and would take it over the GT2RS. The GT2RS certainly will hold its value better though.

If the GT2RS is lighting the way forward for a completely turbocharged GT lineup, I hope they can improve the sounds it makes. Maybe when/if they start to turbocharge the current 4.0L motor...

Get the GT2 RS now, get the Superleggera when it comes out (It will come). The Superleggera will be not only lighter but it will (probably) be even better (sorted) than this one.

I would be happy if the Superleggera was the Performante but just RWD. Would shave 40lbs (random number I have no idea) and they could re-calibrate everything around it being RWD.

I think it would save at least double that amount and maybe more than 100 pounds. Driveshaft, axles, CV's, front differential, etc...

Given that the new Cup-2's still aren't as sticky as the Trofeo-R, that really tells you how fast the GT2 is. That said, I love the bolt-in cage on the Lambo....and that soundtrack! Food for thought, the Manthey 991.1 RS turned a 1:05.8....and that is pretty much all suspension to make that lap time. Stock power, and slightly better Cup-2's, but still not the new Cup-2's. The RS then, IMO, is still the car to have. NA soundtrack thrills, and just go buy a set of Bilstein Clubsports or KW's and some Trofeo-R's.

Stock 991 GT3RS was a 1.08. Stock GT2RS 1.03. That's a massive difference. Can't wait for more lap times out of the 2RS to surface.

Doubt they are discounting them. High demand cars.
