Default GT3 Touring Tune

Just installed the M engineering tune in my Touring. Loads through the OBD port. I have the Dundan street headers. I did stage 2 with 92 octane. I did not get the option to have higher octane as I didnt think I would ever use it. They also custom programmed a fix for my only gripe about my Touring. I can now free Rev when the car is stopped (see you tube video).

Review:
-Much quicker throttle response. Barely have to touch the gas for heal-toe downshifts. It feels better to me. More fun to drive.

-More linear power delivery. I had a hick up at about 4200 and it is now gone.

-Both my wife and I both felt the extra 50hp. I don't think it is placebo effect.

Worth every penny!!

By "hiccup," do you mean the valves opening up at around 4,000 rpm? Any idea how this tune smooths that out? Does this tune affect your warranty? Glad to hear that you are enjoying the tune and noticing a significant difference!

It isn't the sound change. With the exhaust button off the valves do not open at 4,000 rpm. Unless there is heavy throttle. At light throttle I would get a surge at about 4,200. Very minor and not a big deal but glad the tune fixed it. My guess is the tune would void the warranty. However I have 20,000 miles on the car and only 1 year left on warranty so I am willing to take the chance. If the engine was going to fail I think it would have by now. I also own my own repair shop so I could fix if needed

i don't understand what you mean by free rev when the car is stopped? i can press the gas like your video with the car in neutral and the same thing happens? Thanks for clarifying.

Yeah but you can’t free rev past about 3500 RPM. That’s pretty cool.

I'm not sure that I would pay money to rev my engine beyond 4k while "at rest" - Porsche clearly limited it for a reason ... a 911 is not an Acura!

I have always enjoyed reving a car up (after warmed up)at rest. It just sounds epic especially in the garage. I guess my wife is right when she says I act like a child☺️
