Default Car of the Year 2017

Autocar UK just published their Drivers COTY. GT3 narrowly beat 720S.

Please post COTYs from other publications if you get them.

I thought the 720s was the greatest thing since sliced bread?? No?

Yes I suspect it is. I’m sure it will win lots of these this year but maybe not all!

Thanks for letting us know. Post a link if you see one.

Do you know if it was a manual GT3 used in the test?

Interesting- And 1/2 the price

My Wife thinks McLarens are ugly. I think the 720S looks pretty darn good.

But She thinks my .2 Black GT3 is the nicest car I have gotten to date - it is probably because it is Black - She likes black sport cars

Well, it was the DRIVER'S COTY, not the fastest. I guess throttle response and handling still matter to some.

People lean on the crutch subjectivity when they run out of sound reason and logic - 720S is a tremendous car no matter which way you slice it. If not for the depreciation concern given it's not an LT, The Mc is waaaaaaay more car.

Speaking of your ride, can you share some proper pictures? We have yet to see any out of the shop putting your xpel stealth on

It's not public you have to buy or download the magazine. I'll post a link when they do put it up in a week or two.

Interesting.

I hope EVO gets a manual car for their COTY. I think a manual GT3 would be necessary for them to give the win to the .2 GT3 over the 720.

Will take some outside pictures this weekend.

30 degrees hear in Chicago

Put her on the Charger yesterday and the Detailer wants her back in 2 weeks for another walk thru to make sure every thing perfect because weather is cold here and better to have done in warmer weather where you can let her bake in the sun a little

I was going to say the same thing (and there are good reasons why the 720S has won a lot of gongs - although, from my perspective, this is immaterial as people buy what they like/can afford).
