.2 Passenger Cushion Passthrough
Has anyone been successful in modifying the passenger side cushion to allow the passthrough of the sub belt?
Why, Porsche???? Why? |
1) Been done on the .1. Search
2) DOT requirement. Search 3) Some PCA regions will not allow it - 4 pt. Search |

Just had mine modified last week. Just remove the cushion and send to a shop that makes seat covers and has sewing machine.
Thanks! |

.1 cushion is different... don't think it had a hole like this on the driver side...

Good to know. My dealer offered to cut the hole and reupholster the passenger seat. Wonder if they reposition the weight sensor, or they just remove it?
I'll contact my dealer to see if they have a source they trust. |
The pass thru hole is front of the sensor did it myself this past weekend no big deal , had local upholster shop put a stitch in on either side of the hole good go, use the driver side pass thru hole in carbon fiber to make template then use on passenger side
also need to get sub mount for harness not a big deal https://rennlist.com/forums/webkit-f...bc68/imagejpeghttps://rennlist.com/forums/webkit-f...3cc6/imagejpeghttps://rennlist.com/forums/webkit-f...9e09/imagejpeg |
We also send our cushion out to a trusted local upholster to have them modified.
