Does anyone else find it strange that we haven't seen this car yet with the top up, particularly now that it has made it official debut? I haven't scoured the internet or plowed through this entire thread so maybe I've missed it, but I'm not aware of any Porsche press photos with the top up. No shots of the top up from Rennsport Reunion where it was on display. No pics from New York that have been posted.
I remember for the 981 Spyder's intro at the 2015 New York show there was a video of a Porsche rep demonstrating how to raise and lower the roof. Nothing like that for the Speedster's debut.
Another Rennlister earlier in this thread posted a granular cell phone video partially showing the roof being raised, but I've yet to see a simple walk around of the car with the top up or even a profile showing the buttresses secured in the rear lid. I have no clear idea what the side profile of this car really looks like with the top fully up.
Like I said, maybe there are pics out there and I've just missed them. If anyone has any, please post.
The conspiracy theorist in me is starting to think the roof is still a work in progress and maybe Porsche is still trying to work out some bugs. In that granular video referenced above the bloke goes to close the rear lid after the roof is raised and it doesn't shut properly/completely. Odd.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is like the one for the 2011 Boxster Spyder. It was a bit of a pain.

For those who really want to deploy the CXX money cannon, at least back in the 993 era, you could deviated stitching .... on your cab roof. Who will be the first in the modern era to try. 🤣

I can’t be 100% sure from the pictures, but it appears the heritage package has gone back to the “orange bar” early crests. I am sure the air bag and center caps will be the things to have (and probably 2x or 3x the cost of regular ones).

Drifting
Hood and wheel caps for sure. Didn't look at the steering wheel
