The headrest Porsche crests are also of the old design. Compare the console photo I pulled off the web with the speedster headrest crest.

Insomnia is both a disease and a weapon. In case anyone was wondering about the red speedster in the Porsche PR video, it was owned by Bruce Jennings.

Sadly, both he (at 70) and his son (at 26) took their own lives.

I will reserve judgment for the final product. I assumed I want one but almost wondering if sticking with spyder for my drop top wins out in the end? We'll see. Spyder + RS winning at this point in time but I might lose my mind if/when I see one in person.

I would absolutely love one but I know I will never be able to get an allocation.

When will the actual car be presented to the public? Paris auto show?

Who knew there was so much design talent on Rennlist? Porsche should consult the experts here first before releasing any final design. It might end up looking like an AMC Pacer, but hey, there are many owners of the latter who LOVED that car and if Porsche is lucky, their kids might be posting here today, having inherited their parents' design chops. Throw on some curb feelers, gold wheels with white walls, a massive wing and it will be perfect!

Or, Porsche could just launch the concept as presented, make the stickers optional, and I'm a buyer.

I see Porsche is learning from the Ford GT market, adding a heritage edition as an option

I wouldn't underestimate many on here. Quite a bit of good taste and ideas that float around here. Not like Porsche is knocking every edition and option out of the ballpark here. Surely not managing the customer relations very well.

Agreed. After all, it was feedback from the community that got us the manual back in the GT3 and a 911S engine in a Cayman.

I will do the same if I see you (I loved your euro delivery videos).
Thanks for the compliments on the ED videos. I still haven't "produced" my last ED and it is coming up on a year now. I'm no Nick Murray.

I moved to New Orleans about 4 weeks. I guess I need to update my forum accounts. Food and people are great down here but man the roads and heat just suck.

Pretty sure a few of these will end up with those who really want it- if enough of the lightweight stuff carries over it would be a riot to drive

Attention C.J.!

May I ask you a question, please?

You told the forum two weeks ago that you could reveal a new, secret car to us “on Wednesday.” What car were you talking about? Or, if I missed the discussion, could you direct me to the appropriate thread?

Thank you, my most honorable friend.
