would be sweet to have a 911 GT3 Touring and this Speedster as a combo in your garage.
Although it would most likely be the 911 GT3R and the Speedster as combo given how limited production they are.

First take:
Love the ethos of this and absolutely love the leather but those side mirrors are awful. Might have been okay if they also went with polished aluminum exterior door handles but otherwise they do not fit with the rest of the design well.

Headlights look like regular PDLS with some matte film on them to me.

Hilarious quote.
I think it was Whoopsy who told us the 8th, but if it ends up being tomorrow, I think we can forgive him on that claim.
I’m more concerned about the “inside information” being posted about the over-all car. It seems we have three people who are claiming to know what the Speedster will look like, and they seem to have different "inside information." Here’s my summary of their claims… please correct me if I’ve stated something incorrect:
1. The Honorable Whoopsy: It is just a GT3 Touring convertible that has lost its soul and purpose. Same windshield. GT3 engine.
2. The Honorable CJ: It is less like a GT3/RS convertible, and more like a 911R convertible because the focus was weight savings.
3. Chris3963: GT3RS engine/power. The Speedster is actually something very special this time around, and is not just another exercise in depleting the parts bin; it has its own unique identity, even if it does share the 911 GT platform.
It should be noted that Chris3963 has been consistent with all his claims since December.
I'll join the other gentleman above, and put my money on Chris. If I were to bet, I'd say that no one will think of the 911R nor the GT3 Touring when they see it.

Love the side mirrors. Like the fuchs, 21" might be much but I suspect they make a big car seem smaller. Love the black PCCB calipers- should be optional on all cars. Like the hood pins and center fill, and removable tonneau cover, but it better be light to justify them. Don't see the hood pins making in to production...

Could be even less makes it into production if this is what Whoopsy and others saw in Geneva but production vehicle is (just) a GT3T Cabriolet.

I don’t think anyone looks at this “concept” version of the Speedster and thinks it’s a 911R convertible. All the “spy shots” showing generic “GT3 convertibles” we’re wrong, too. This car is completely unique and stands on its own 4 feet. According to Porsche’s own press release, the Speedster’s body has been borrowed from the 911 Carrera 4, and the horsepower is “over 500.” I still think Chris will be proven right at 525hp.
Anyway you slice it, I think it’s a beautiful car.
Hope you have a nice time at the Investor Conference. Tell everyone hello from me.
