Get it right guys, is the GT3 Touring Cab. haha

Maybe stretching it but with all the "Anniversary Events" coming up around June 8th - might be a good time for an Announcement..... 1948 or 356 units....we will find out.... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porsche_356/1

If this is indeed a Touring cab, with current configuration I agree it would be diluting the GT brand and wouldn’t care too much for it... BUT if it has back seats? I’d give a kidney for one! 😅

When you guys say "diluting" the brand. . . does that imply in the future, you won't be purchasing GT cars? Because they made some sort of convertible type product with a killer engine?
ex: 992 GT3 RS comes out - 550 hp n/a etc.. You won't have interest because of the previous dilution? I think it doesn't matter.

^ Personally I don’t mind if they make a Speedster, Roadster, Spyder, or all three with the GT3 drivetrain. But it is frustrating that they are apparently having to stop production of the GT3 and leave unsatisfied demand in order to do so.

I wonder at what price Porsche will pitch the Speedster. Between the Touring and 3RS?

The 997 Speedster was over $200k MSRP in the relatively weak economy of 2011, without any Motorsports pedigree...so I expect the 991 to be at least $250k. But if there is a Speedster, Roadster, and Spyder all with similar drivetrains, it will be interesting to see how Porsche differentiates them with a $100-250k+ price span.

Other brands have their high end sports cars with a drop top...I have to admit lately I've been like...man my GT3RS would be cool if I could put the top down...I mean we have it in the CGT and 918...I used to be a coupe only type guy...but lately I feel like it's just more emotional with the top down and I want more...I can run the race cars when I was purity.

To be consistent with that pricing model, price would have to start with a "3", except there were only 356 of those and should be 5.5x as many this time. That's why I said price approaching a 2RS...

but with racecars it is the same. open vs. closed
still. you have to bleed 911 to order a „cab as 911“. but thats just a styling/design question. the GT3 Cabrio looks i have to admit - better.
seems not that high. because that wide.
imagine AP to FSW: „Frank lets earn another boni for 2018/2019? Whats our bonuses for creating nearly 1 BILLION extra in turnover and a couple of 100 Millions in profit for VW? ...“
(5.000 GT3 Cabs for around 170.000 € net; loaded)
