I am hoping to get a speedster but not counting on it my dealer has someone ahead of me but I have been told they will likely want over sticker which is something they did not do for the current round of GT cars

I had the chance to talk to dealer Janitor. I was pulsing when is the 991 Speedster going to come and a guesstimate how many are arriving to USA.
I was informed if anything, 2019 is when order builds will be available. Early delivery can be towards second half of 2019 at the earliest. Approximately 400 copies arriving here in USA. Let the battle for acquisition begin.

I had the chance to talk to dealer Janitor. I was pulsing when is the 991 Speedster going to come and a guesstimate how many are arriving to USA.

Yes I fully agree that 400 is a low count considering there will be 1948 copies worldwide. But my Janitor contact is pretty reliable and accurate with the numbers they share.
Have you tried asking your cleaning lady or janitor what is the probability your dealer will get one? The 918 VIPs are a shoo-in, that will be followed closely by those VVIP (Very Valuable Important Person) who buys multiple Porsches year in and year out. For the cherry pickers, probably a huge ADM coming.
It will for sure be another tight debacle who gets this limited and numbered 911 Speedsters.

Thanks to C.J. for the info on his latest throttledogs podcast! He’s estimating $250 USD price. He reiterates it’s a 911r convertible with at least 510hp and a manual. It will be interesting if the fuel cap in the centre makes production. Go listen to his show!
