The buttresses are the biggest PIA of the whole process. It takes a little magic to snap them in place the first time. I would assume something similar for the Speedster. Would be great if the top were electric but certainly not a deal breaker as is.

If they start producing these around Geneva show time as people are saying, how long do we have to order and get car? The scheduling is tight because 992 will be coming in then.

It doesn’t really matter. They make different cars on the assembly line utiling JIT manufacturing processes. 991.2 can be made along with 992, 718, etc. same goes in Leipzig, panameras are made along with cayennes and Macans.

congratulations John!! That is amazing. I agree with you on best of the last. If you don’t already know it can you please do all of RL a favor and call PCNA with your commission number to find out the exact finish production date?

Official dealer allocations have not been issued. I suspect a rough guideline will be the dealer's actual # of GT2 RS allocations received, minus ~20% (estimated 2,400 GT2 RS's vs 1948 Speedsters). I see no reason why the criteria shouldn't be similar (overall sales volume, # of regular 911's sold, etc).
