Speedster - Calling All Cleaning Ladies

I realize that this is probably a Speedster mule, but doesn't the cab top look a little weird? I am sure it will all be worked out between now and its release (and given the opportunity, I would buy one no matter what the cab top looks like). Here is a picture of my 991.1 GTS cab, what is currently the most powerful of the naturally aspirated 911 cabs...

I missed these. Thanks!
i wonder what colours will be available. Previous speedsters only had a couple options I believe.
Would you say it’s more a 991r convertible or GT3 convertible?

The cloth top is definitely shorter and has no rear side window. The back section currently there is tacked on and is presumably covering the streamliners. Funnily enough the side window/top interface looks very similar to Boxster Spyder.
Did previous Speedsters have manually operated tops?

It's got GT3 front and rear bumpers, wheels and brakes. Also the recess in the frunk so this will probably be priced like an R+. Weirdly exhaust tips are very small.
Drive mag article here claims it will be based on GTS but I find that unlikely based on observations above. https://drivemag.com/news/limited-ed...91-s-swan-song

It looks good.

It does. Looks like it might actually be well-resolved rather than a botch job by Halfords like the last one.
Also it might be a GT dept product rather than Porsche Exclusive like last time. Although maybe Exclusive could start with a GT product.
The rumours of AP saying something special was coming - is this it?

It looks good (as in clean), but not "OMG I want one" good, imo. Having other GT cars, I'd probably choose a R10, 458/488, Huracan spyder instead. Or even a Turbo S cab.

looks like they reused the std arc'd 718 Boxster door glass because of the Speedster's necessary elim of the qtr windows and then designed the top and trailing humps around that ..will be interesting to compare its roof/ humps/rear three quarter architecture and engineering with the 981 Boxster Spyder's esp given the triangular patch of camo that would be where the 987 and 981 Spyders' flying buttresses are though the 911 has no hx of buttresses compared to the first gen Cayman
