Just got back and read all 1300 posts or something. There are a few in there somewhere.

Let me know if you get Speedster allocation. I will gladly give up PTS touring lol.

This weekend at CC I ran into 3 people that have spent ample time in a Gt2 RS and a GT3 RS both perfect the GT3 RS. Track and street.

Compare a Turbo to a GT3...... nothing in coming but the Porsche logo. My wife would love a Turbo.... me not so much.[/QUOTE]

Excellent explanation

The new Turbo S is getting a bit closer to more track work and with a few modification will be a great track weapon. To be perfectly honest if I couldn't get an allocation I prob would get a Turbo S and track it up! It certainly isn't as good as the GT3RS but I got lucky entering the Porsche line when I did 6 years ago and I'd love to have a Turbo as a street car with my RS. Knowing myself it wouldn't take long to get proper seats and a COBB Tune and start chasing lap times up here at altitude! I think I would rather have a Turbo S than a GT3 knowing what a RS can do.........no I'd still rather have the GT

Except that the turbo isn't offered with a MT. If you want a ridiculous road rocket with three pedals, it's GTS or GT3.

And then there are guys who love both. Turbo S Cab for DD in traffic, RS for back mountain roads. Both are GREAT, But the RS (ANY RS) is torture on the 405 through LA or on the Long Island Expressway. The Turbo is not nearly as interesting on CA 74 or CA 198.

On the Turbo/ GT2 / GT3 comparo.........I will just add, that a pre-pdk Mezger Turbo is an excellent canvas to modify and track (or just drive).
I put mine against all of the above most any day.......however......my wife will no longer ride in the car

Has anyone received information yet on Speedster allocations? A dealer I spoke with today said that he already received and filled two at a very large market adjustment.

Possibly, however you would think that Porsche would find a way to get allocations to their most prized customers so they wouldn’t have to pay over MSRP.

A few dealers I have spoken to, have stated they have a great demand on this car. I know it looks good but didn't think it would create this much demand.

There NO allocations so far that I know of so that may be premature sale by that dealer.

Drive safe,

Not possible, VIP allocations haven't been released yet.

That's what I thought. MY SA handles most of the VIP allocations for my dealership, and hasn't received anything yet with regards to allocations. They did receive the process for placing orders once they receive their allocations though... getting closer.
