Speedster - Calling All Cleaning Ladies

Burning Brakes
There we go. That’s better.
The individual(s) responsible for reimagining the first look at the concept for the new Speedster needs to go back to ‘creative’ school. The fake taped up headlights looked ridiculous and distracted the eye - They looked dumb on the original car, but no one cared; because they had a purpose. The two tone paint broke up the lines in a most unattractive manner. It looked like the factory all got drunk at once, and then they all let everyone have a piece to design. I guess they kept their revenge by breaking up the line with the blacked out rear wheel arch.
I saw a blurry side view of the silver/white mess a few days ago, and realized that it’s actually an amazing looking car - that was dressed badly. Like Scarlett Johansson dressed by Ken Done. Kind of makes one wonder WTF the creatives at Porsche are thinking. Maybe they’re the same ones that got hold of the 992 PDK shifter ?

This is more like it..It looks so much better in Guards rather than the mish mash of the original Goodwood car..What do they mean by a Tonneau cover..? Does it mean it can't be driven in the rain with just a cover to protect the interior when parked up..The engine with over 500HP, does this mean with the new particulate filter or not..?

As we get more official info - the facts seem to line up with what our well connected renlisters have been hinting to us from early on
1948 speedsters
Option of normal paint (Eg red)vs a “heritage” paint/interior option (the white/silver version)
GT3(RS) drivetrain with manual
both the red and the white/silver are “concepts”
so unlikely the side mirrors and centre fuel cap will make it to production
tonneau cover - I can’t work out if that is it or if we are getting a folding cover - maybe we can get some further “hints” from guys in the know??
i sure hope there are other heritage colour options apart from the white/silver combo.

This is just another concept but not actual production car, yes?

For reference:
993 Speedsters = 2 units
Zero 996 Speedsters
997 Speedsters = 356 units
So 1,948 is quite a large sum now.....

Those red-tinted DRL's are a cool touch though....

Porsche press release says 500+hp and 9,000 rpm so that means a 991.2 engine, probably RS. AP said the previous concept had 991.1 engine because they had one lying about. Because production version will have particulate filter and not as good breathing as RS this is almost certainly RS engine to make the 500+ claim.
There is not much meaningful difference between the 2 concepts. I don't think we can be sure the mirrors will make it. And I doubt the central filler will.
The tonneau cover on both concepts is indeed a simple cover going over the seats when you're not driving. This probably won't make it either.
One new item on this v2 concept that might make it is the wheels.
