IDK, new pics makes me think its stretch Boxster Spyder.....1 foot longer....at $100000/ft delta or more
If the next Boxster Spyder gets a 425-450 hp detuned 4.0 L engine...that may be the manual drop to to get.....in fact buy TWO and still have change left over?

Is the current Boxster Spyder better than all the 911 cabs? Probably. Does it matter? Nope. I am dying for a “911 Spyder”....

As far as best is concerned, the Targa is perfect. I’ll always have one but it’s easy to get so I don’t desire it the most.

ok, I watched this go round the ring yesterday. I have some video I will upload tonight.

what I will say is the engine does not sound at all like my 991.2 GT3. I will let you all speculate when you hear it.

they had what looked like the 992 Turbo on the track also. and McLaren had their new LT thing with the exhausts on top ala 918

i would be surprised if there will come different engines on those two versions.

4.0 N/A we can take as granted? at least for the Heritage one?

I suspect it would have the GPF fitted, which would affect the sound..Can you elaborate ..?

Great Brand- great cars but need some more panache sort to speak
Then perhaps the brand just isn't for you? Nothing wrong with that. The look of the GT models or Speedster concept is about as "look at me" as you'll get from Porsche and probably for most fans that's a good thing. I certainly prefer the understated, elegant look of a 911 compared to a Lamborghini or whatever.

Heritage for the Speedster is the WP of the GT3 RS - I gather similar cost.

I'll guess "Particle Filter" in advance

Thanks Chris

Can anyone guess when a production model is likely to be announced? Is Goodwood likely or too soon? I am dying to know all about it.

In my opinion, if there is a heritage version and normal version (Chris is rarely wrong) it will take away from the car. I don’t like the idea of the heritage being just a GT3 convertible with some add on bits.

The car released as per the concept is so cool to me.

Surely, a tactic to extract more money out of buyers. I don’t blame them but I don’t like it.

if it is a gt3 convertible I can’t see how they can justify a big price over say 25k on top of the GT3

Because they'll give it GT3 RS power and charge more than an RS (just a guess)?

and a race seat. Possibly this could be a test mule for performance, chassis, new top operation, track capabilities, etc. I am sure out of the 1948 produced, these will become track rats. (sarcasm)...
